Our client, a leading insurance and financial services organisation, is seeking a Reward Benefits Lead to join their Reward team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a benefits professional who enjoys shaping and managing employee benefits, working with stakeholders at all levels, and ensuring employees get the very best from their total reward package.
Responsibilities
- Benefits Management: Manage the day-to-day delivery of UK and international employee benefits, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and employee satisfaction.
- Renewals & Vendor Management: Lead annual renewals across core benefits such as healthcare, pensions, life assurance, and risk benefits, working closely with insurers, brokers, and advisers to ensure cost-effective, high-quality solutions.
- Benefits Technology: Maintain and enhance the benefits portal, ensuring employees have clear and accessible information on their options.
- Data & Compliance: Provide accurate data to payroll and HR operations, ensuring compliance with internal governance and regulatory requirements within a financial services environment.
- Wellbeing & Engagement: Support the delivery of wellbeing initiatives and communications to drive awareness, understanding, and take-up of benefits.
- Global Coordination: Collaborate with international HR colleagues to align benefits offerings where possible, balancing local competitiveness with global consistency.
- Projects & Reporting: Contribute to wider Reward projects, such as reporting, benefits benchmarking, and market reviews.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical benefits expertise and strong relationship management skills, including:
- Experience managing employee benefits, ideally within financial services, insurance, or a complex international environment.
- Strong understanding of benefits markets and providers, with experience managing external advisers and vendors.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, able to engage confidently with employees, HR colleagues, and external partners.
- A proactive, curious, and solutions-focused mindset, always looking for ways to enhance the employee experience.
- Knowledge of pensions, healthcare, risk benefits, and UK regulatory considerations is desirable.
