A leading global insurance organisation is seeking an experienced Associate Director - Renewable Energy Claims to join its specialist claims team in London.
This is a senior position responsible for managing a portfolio of complex and high-value Renewable Energy, Property, Liability and Business Interruption claims, while providing technical leadership and oversight to colleagues.
You will work closely with clients, brokers, insurers and other key stakeholders to deliver outstanding claims outcomes and drive service excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Manage complex Renewable Energy and Natural Resources claims through to resolution.
- Act as a technical referral point for the wider claims team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers and insurers.
- Lead negotiations to achieve the best possible claims outcomes.
- Support and develop team members through coaching and mentoring.
- Contribute to claims strategy, operational improvements and service excellence initiatives.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience handling complex insurance claims within the Lloyd's, London Market or wider commercial insurance sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of Property, Liability and Business Interruption claims.
- Renewable Energy, Power Generation or Natural Resources claims experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Experience leading, mentoring or managing claims professionals.
- Commercially focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
