Key Responsibilities
- Lead the revenue accounting process, incorporating best practice to ensure reporting speed and accuracy.
- Assist in month-end revenue close, including reconciliations, variance analysis, and other reporting.
- Design standard contracts in collaboration with the Sales, Product, FP&A, and Legal teams, and review and evaluate the impact of non-standard contracts and new products.
- Drive process improvements to work towards the automation of the end-to-end revenue cycle within NetSuite.
- Lead, mentor and develop the members of the revenue accounting team, and support the systems accounting team.
- Act as the primary liaison for the external auditors, in all matters related to order-to-cash.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong educational background, including a relevant degree.
- Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
- Experience in Audit within a Big 4 Accounting firm.
- Strong experience with IFRS15 and revenue accounting for a subscription based business.
- Experience managing a team, or ambitious and keen to progress quickly.
- Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.
