We are working with a global asset manager to appoint a Content Operations Manager into its international marketing function on a 12-month contract. The business has a broad global footprint and is continuing to invest in improving how content is produced, managed and delivered across regions. This is a delivery-focused role with responsibility for driving operational improvements across the content lifecycle, ensuring content is produced efficiently, accurately and at scale.
Sitting within a central team, you will work across multiple regions and departments to enhance processes, systems and outputs. The role would suit a project-oriented professional with experience in content, marketing operations or digital delivery who is looking for high visibility, hands-on ownership of critical initiatives within a complex, global environment.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Delivering end-to-end content operations projects, ensuring workstreams are completed on time and to scope
- Managing multiple concurrent initiatives, maintaining clear timelines, milestones and accountability
- Identifying inefficiencies in content workflows and implementing practical process improvements
- Driving the implementation of automation solutions to streamline content production, updates and distribution
- Overseeing content systems and tools to ensure effective usage and continuous optimisation
- Collaborating with marketing, legal, compliance and technology teams to deliver agreed outcomes
- Acting as a central point of coordination across stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and progress tracking
- Managing relationships with external vendors and platform providers where required
- Monitoring project progress, risks and dependencies, providing regular updates to senior stakeholders
- Ensuring governance standards are met, including accurate documentation of processes and workflows
- Supporting reporting and tracking through workflow management tools to provide visibility on delivery
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience delivering projects within marketing, content operations or digital environments in financial services
- Strong understanding of content workloads, including production, approval and distribution processes
- Experience working with content management, sales enablement or CRM platforms (e.g. Seismic, Salesforce)
- Proven ability to implement automation and improve operational efficiency
- Experience using workflow and project management tools (e.g. Workfront or similar)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with cross-functional stakeholders
- A structured, delivery-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
