A leading specialist insurance business is looking for an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join its finance team. This role will see you managing a portfolio of broker accounts, driving cash collection, resolving account queries, and supporting ongoing process improvements within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage broker accounts and issue monthly statements.
- Chase outstanding debt and build strong broker relationships.
- Allocate cash, resolve unallocated funds, and complete reconciliations.
- Escalate aged debt issues and provide regular reporting.
- Chair stakeholder meetings to address credit control matters.
- Identify process improvements and support continuous development initiatives.
- Assist with audits and wider finance team activities.
Requirements:
- Experience within an IBA, broking, MGA, or insurer environment.
- Strong credit control and broker accounting knowledge.
- Proven reconciliation experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Team leadership experience desirable.
- Knowledge of Sequel Eclipse is advantageous.
