My client is a specialist engineering business with a strong reputation and excellent client base. Due to retirement, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a varied role, reporting into the Managing Director. The role will be varied and whilst strongly finance based, will also have exposure to and duties including broader commercial duties such as procurement, costing, and ad hoc analysis.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Invoice reconciliation and payment preparation for authorisation by the MD
- Credit control
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with costing and purchasing
- Ad hoc reporting, analysis and administration
