Our client, a leading Insurer, is seeking a Junior Underwriter to support the underwriting of the War Risks portfolio in the business. The role involves liaising with brokers and members, preparing quotations and documentation, and ensuring accurate and timely underwriting administration.
The successful candidate will have at least 18 months’ Marine Insurance experience, preferably within Underwriting, although we are open to CVs from those working within the Marine claims/broking sector. We will also encourage applications from individuals with underwriting experience in different classes of business who wish to pivot into the Marine sector.
