A market-leading Lloyd’s brokerage is seeking a Catastrophe Analyst to join its established team within the Lloyd’s Market. This role will focus primarily on reinsurance business across the Nordic region, supporting brokers and clients with high-quality catastrophe modelling, portfolio analysis, and exposure management. It offers excellent exposure to international reinsurance programmes and close collaboration with senior market stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering catastrophe modelling and exposure analysis for reinsurance portfolios, with a focus on Nordic risks
- Supporting treaty placements through portfolio analytics, model output, and risk assessment
- Working closely with brokers, underwriters, and clients to interpret and present modelling results
- Producing reports and insights to support renewals and new business
- Contributing to the development and enhancement of catastrophe modelling capabilities
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in catastrophe modelling within the Lloyd’s or London Market
- Strong knowledge of reinsurance and catastrophe risk in the Nordic region (or broader European portfolios)
- Hands-on experience with leading vendor models (e.g. RMS, AIR, or similar)
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially aware
