An exciting opportunity has arisen with a growing Lloyd’s broker that is continuing to build its presence in the London market following sustained growth and internal progression. The business operates in the event and contingency insurance space, placing short-tail, transactional risks for live events, tours and festivals. Due to increasing volumes, they are now looking to add an additional Account Handler to their London-based team.

The Role

This is a pure account handling position, working closely with a dedicated broking team in a high-tempo environment. Responsibilities will include:

  • Producing slips, endorsements and MRCs
  • Preparing quote presentations and policy documentation
  • Managing day-to-day client and market administration
  • Supporting brokers through the placement process
  • Ensuring accuracy and efficiency across a high volume of transactions

The model is deliberately structured to separate broking and account handling, offering strong technical exposure without pressure to place business.

About You

The business is open-minded on backgrounds and values attitude and core fundamentals over niche class experience. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Current/previous experience in an Account Handling role
  • Exposure to slip and endorsement production (Lloyd’s or Company Market beneficial but not essential)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset
  • Progress toward CII
  • Previous contingency, media or entertainment experience is not required.
