A respected specialty Insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Advocate to join its Professional, Financial and Cyber claims team on a 12-month Fixed-term contract. This role is ideally suited to a broker-side claims professional who enjoys acting as a trusted advocate for clients while working closely with insurers and internal placing teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage claims from initial notification through to settlement, providing clear, confident and strategic claims advocacy on behalf of clients.
- Review policy coverage and wordings, assess risk, prepare and present claims submissions to insurers, and proactively manage insurer engagement to achieve timely and positive outcomes.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, legal advisors and internal stakeholders, and produce claims reporting to support renewals and wider account management.
Qualifications
- Three to five years’ experience handling Professional Indemnity, Financial Lines or D&O claims within a broking house.
- Confident using ECF, comfortable working with Microsoft Office applications, and able to communicate effectively with clients and markets.
- Organised, resilient and capable of managing a varied workload in a fast-paced broker setting.
