Are you an organised and proactive HR professional ready to take the next step in your career? Our client is looking for an HR Assistant to join their thriving team, acting as the first point of contact for all HR administration queries and playing a key role in delivering a seamless employee experience.
As HR Assistant you’ll support recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and HR projects across our UK locations, working closely with the Head of HR and Senior HR Business Partner. This is a varied role with opportunities to get involved in everything from regulatory compliance (including SMCR) to process improvement and L&D coordination.
What you’ll do:
- Manage onboarding for all new joiners across multiple sites
- Support recruitment processes and coordinate interviews
- Administer monthly HR payroll submissions
- Maintain accurate HRIS records (Sage) and drive system improvements
- Coordinate training sessions and inductions
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and FCA/SMCR requirements
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in an HR admin or coordinator role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of HR systems (Sage desirable) and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices
