We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Lecturer in Creative Production Technologies to join our academic community and inspire the next generation of creative practitioners. About the Role
The successful candidate will contribute knowledge and practical expertise across a range of creative production technologies, with particular strengths in one or more of the following areas:
- Lighting programming and control
- XR and virtual production workflows
- Motion capture systems and performance capture pipelines
- Video and projection technologies
- Lighting systems and control networks
- Visualisation technologies
- 2D and 3D CAD
- Digital production technologies for live performance, theatre, recorded media, immersive experiences, and related creative industries
You will play a key role in the operation and delivery of the College's innovative XR Stage, supporting integrated workflows involving motion capture, real-time engines, and virtual production systems. This will include contributing to teaching, demonstrations, technical support, and creative project delivery.
The post-holder will primarily teach on the BA (Hons) Creative Lighting Control programme, working under the leadership of the relevant Programme Director, while also contributing specialist expertise across other programmes where appropriate.
