Our client is a global manufacturer of makeup, fragrance and skin care. They are seeking a qualified Compliance Specialist to join the Quality Department and support the delivery of regulated products across the organization.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement and ensure adherence to policies, procedures and standards site‑wide.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable GMP regulations, regulatory agency guidelines, industry association guidelines, corporate requirements and best practices.
- Conduct internal audits (GMP, hygiene, QMS) ensuring actions are documented, addressed and tracked appropriately.
- Manage 3rd‑party audit follow‑up and corrective action plans.
- Serve as Veeva Quality One (EQMS) quality role – reviews/approvals for CAPA, deviations, change controls and participate in global team/SME site representation.
- Review, approve and administer the OpenText document management system.
- Oversee QMS and drive continuous improvement across all departments against defined KPIs.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement using audit results, trends and observations.
- Implement a quality risk assessment programme.
- Review/approve validation protocols and serve as validation liaison.
- Represent the global compliance team at the site.
- Prepare and submit annual product reviews.
Requirements
- Experience in a regulated industry (cosmetic or pharmaceutical experience preferred).
- Experience improving quality systems and process design.
- Experience authorizing and maintaining procedures and work instructions.
- Knowledge of compliance related to applicable quality system standards nationally and internationally.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting under minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and support QA/QC departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Electronic QMS, e‑training systems, and SAP (preferred).
