Here at Bruce’s, we are looking for a Full-time Carer Driver at our Surrey Hills Centre.

What You\’ll Be Doing

Our Carer Drivers are at the forefront of our mission, representing Bruce\’s to our incredible customers. You’re not just a driver; you’re a doggy advocate, a safety guardian, and a customer service superstar rolled into one.

• You will be transporting dogs to and from Daycare in our Bruce’s Doggy Buses, ensuring the safety of every passenger onboard.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver weekly enrichment routines according to our enrichment calendar.
• Know our four-legged friends well, checking notes and sharing updates with customers.
• Maintain our doggy buses in top condition, ready to deliver exceptional experiences.
• Follow customer instructions for pick-up and drop-off, including special requests like lunches or specific drop-off points.
• Upload photos of dogs to our CRM system, tagging them for customers to view their activities.
• Create a positive environment leading to happy dogs and a joyful atmosphere.
• Monitor behaviour, manage conflicts positively, and contribute to behaviour management plans.
• Assist with bathing, washing, and towelling dogs prior to drop-off.
• Care for equipment, fields, and site, keeping them safe and clean, including cleaning up after the dogs.

About you:

You are reliable, trustworthy, aged 21 or over, with at least 2 years of driving experience, and reside in the Headley Down area. You should have a current DBS check or be willing to undergo one. As the face of Bruce’s, you must be confident with customers and dogs alike, handling queries and discussing dog behaviour with ease. You embrace challenges, work well under time pressure, and have a positive, can-do attitude. Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions is essential.
