Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cash entries, reconciliations and maintenance in Acturis.
  • Premium management and maintenance ensuring all entries are attributable to the correct parties, month end & yearend accounts.
  • To play an active role, attend meetings where necessary and to undertake other reasonable duties if required, to ensure the department operates efficiently.
  • Bank reconciliations and journal postings.
  • Cashbook, purchase and sales ledger maintenance.
  • Keeping Acturis up to date.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience using Acturis.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the UK Insurance Industry (Essential).
  • Basic technical knowledge of FCA regulations as they pertain to insurance intermediaries.
  • Live within a reasonable commute to our offices.
  • Motor insurance experience is not essential but is preferred.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Drive to learn – with a work ethic of continual improvement and excellent service.
  • Certificate in Insurance or above.
