Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cash entries, reconciliations and maintenance in Acturis.
- Premium management and maintenance ensuring all entries are attributable to the correct parties, month end & yearend accounts.
- To play an active role, attend meetings where necessary and to undertake other reasonable duties if required, to ensure the department operates efficiently.
- Bank reconciliations and journal postings.
- Cashbook, purchase and sales ledger maintenance.
- Keeping Acturis up to date.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of experience using Acturis.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the UK Insurance Industry (Essential).
- Basic technical knowledge of FCA regulations as they pertain to insurance intermediaries.
- Live within a reasonable commute to our offices.
- Motor insurance experience is not essential but is preferred.
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Drive to learn – with a work ethic of continual improvement and excellent service.
- Certificate in Insurance or above.
