TIG Welder – Stainless Steel Fabrication

Location: Basildon, Essex

Pay: £18 - £21 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Working Hours:

  • Monday–Thursday: 7am–4pm (flexible 6am–5pm when required)
  • Friday: 7am–1pm

Role:

Experienced TIG Welder required for fabrication of bespoke commercial catering equipment including:

  • Stainless steel sinks
  • Work benches & tables
  • Shelving & cupboards
  • Refrigerated/servery counters
  • Hot cupboards
  • Bar counters
  • Extraction systems & canopies

Warehouse-based role in Basildon with occasional site work.

Requirements:

  • Proven TIG welding experience
  • Thin gauge stainless steel (0.9mm–1.5mm)
  • Sheet metal fabrication experience
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances (1mm minimum)
  • Ability to read drawings and produce high-quality finishes

No coding required.
