TIG Welder – Stainless Steel Fabrication
Location: Basildon, Essex
Pay: £18 - £21 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 7am–4pm (flexible 6am–5pm when required)
- Friday: 7am–1pm
Role:
Experienced TIG Welder required for fabrication of bespoke commercial catering equipment including:
- Stainless steel sinks
- Work benches & tables
- Shelving & cupboards
- Refrigerated/servery counters
- Hot cupboards
- Bar counters
- Extraction systems & canopies
Warehouse-based role in Basildon with occasional site work.
Requirements:
- Proven TIG welding experience
- Thin gauge stainless steel (0.9mm–1.5mm)
- Sheet metal fabrication experience
- Ability to work to tight tolerances (1mm minimum)
- Ability to read drawings and produce high-quality finishes
No coding required.
