We are looking for a dedicated Town Centre Attendant to join our busy Street Cleansing team in Beeston Town Centre. This is a key role in keeping the town centre clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Main Duties:

  • Litter picking and emptying street bins in and around the town centre
  • Maintaining, cleansing, and opening/closing public toilets
  • Carrying out physical tasks such as manual sweeping, walking long distances, lifting bags from street bins, and manoeuvring the town centre barrow

What We’re Looking For:

  • Ability to undertake physically demanding tasks
  • Excellent customer care skills – you will be a visible presence in the town centre
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to work closely with the Street Cleansing team

Hours:

Tuesday–Friday: 08:30 – 16:30
Saturday: 08:30 – 16:00

Successful applicants will be entitled to 28 days’ holiday (31 after 5 years) in addition to UK Public Bank holidays. As a valuable part of the Council's pay and reward package employees are able to join The Local Government Pension Scheme.
