A vacancy has occurred for a Full and Part Time Customer Services Assistant to join the Customer Services Department, based at the Council Offices in Beeston. The main duties include providing reception and switchboard duties for the council. This is a busy section, handling up to 1,000 visitors each month and 3,000 telephone calls each week.

As a Customer Services Assistant you’ll be talking to lots of different people who call up and drop into our reception at the Council Offices, Beeston, sorting out any questions they have or delivering services that they want to access. In addition, Customer Services Assistants will also be responsible for managing the Council’s main switchboard, diverting calls to the relevant department as per the customer’s request. Previous experience for this type of role would be an advantage but training will be provided.

Hours

  • Full-time post hours (C99): Monday 08:30 to 17:00, Tuesday 08:30 to 17:00, Wednesday 08:30 to 17:00, Thursday 08:30 to 17:00, Friday 08:30 to 16:30
  • Part-time post hours (C100): Wednesday 11:30 to 17:00, Thursday 11:30 to 17:00, Friday 11:00 to 16:30
