The predicted salary is between 33170 - 34806 £ per year.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self‑motivated and customer‑focused individual, who can fulfil this role within the Council’s Housing Repairs team.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will spend your day undertaking a variety of repairs to our Council’s housing stock across a variety of trades such as joinery and plumbing. As you will be visiting various properties you will require excellent customer service skills in order to effectively communicate with our customers.

Most of your work will be undertaken in tenanted properties, but you may also be required to work in empty properties to undertake work to get these ready for new tenants.

You will be provided with a company van for this role.

  • Working in social housing
  • Undertaking repairs in tenanted properties

  • Accurate record keeping

  • Have excellent technical skills in more than one trade
  • Hold a qualification to evidence their ability
