Then come and join our friendly operations team at John Warner Sports Centre in Hoddesdon and Laura Trott Leisure Centre in Cheshunt. You will be helping your community within these centres by providing excellent customer services, so they can enjoy our facilities safely and to the highest standards of cleanliness.
What is required?
• You will need to be resilient, reliable, and conscientious.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
• Have excellent customer care skills.
• Have a friendly and effective manner.
• You will need to converse at ease with members of the public in fluent English to provide advice.
• Perform the safe manual handling, setting up and breaking down heavy equipment within operational guidelines.
• You will need to be organised and be calm under pressure.
• You will need to gain the ‘National Pool Lifeguard Qualification’, which can be funded by us (there is a payback of training fees if you do not qualify within the probationary period).
• On qualifying you will need to pass regular competency tests.
• You will need to pass a swim test which will be conducted at interview stage.
• This role requires a disclosure and barring service check as it is working with children and vulnerable clients.
