20 hours per week, Monday – Friday mornings approx. 6am -10am

The Council is looking to employ a professional, enthusiastic and organised cleaner to join our in-house team. Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, you will undertake a variety of cleaning tasks at Bishops’ College in Cheshunt, which is Broxbourne Council’s main Offices and includes a number of grade II listed buildings.

The duties include:

  • General office cleaning (including toilets and kitchens) to a high standard
  • Public event hall cleaning to a high standard
  • Undertaking various routine, periodic and deep cleaning tasks
  • Collection of recycling and refuse as required
  • Checking for defects and reporting any estate issues found

Applicants must be experienced, competent cleaners who take pride in their work and enjoy working as part of a team. The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English is essential in this post.

The roles consist of working early morning between Monday and Friday. There is a requirement to work additional hours to cover annual leave or absence as required.
