This is an opportunity for you to join Broxbourne Council to teach our local community how to swim. We are looking to recruit qualified, enthusiastic and reliable swimming instructors on a permanent and casual basis, to teach both children and adults of various abilities. A variety of shifts are available from Monday to Saturday to fit in with your other commitments.
Come and join our small and friendly team of instructors, with vacancies available at both the Laura Trott Leisure Centre in Cheshunt and the John Warner Sports Centre in Hoddesdon.
If you are interested in joining us, the minimum qualification required is a Swim England Level 2 Teacher’s Certificate or a Swim England Level 2 in Teaching of Swimming. A Teacher’s Rescue Award is preferable (NRASTC) although training would be offered to the right candidate. Previous teaching experience is also an advantage.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English is essential in this post. This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check as it is working with children or vulnerable clients.
