Position Overview: Join our Housing Solutions Team to support individuals at risk of homelessness. This role involves interviewing, assessing and advising clients to secure stable housing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interview, assess and support clients facing homelessness.
- Manage a caseload of clients, providing tailored advice and housing solutions.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to deliver clear, lawful support.
- Make decisions based on a comprehensive understanding of local authority homelessness duties and relevant legislation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience working within a local authority housing or homelessness setting.
- Knowledge of housing and homelessness law, including local authority duties.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, with excellent communication skills.
- Fluent spoken English; good written and analytical skills.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Full driving licence.
- Motivation and genuine interest in helping people.
