Location: Laura Trott Leisure Centre, Cheshunt and John Warner Sports Centre, Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire.

Contract and Working Pattern: Permanent, Part Time.

Salary: £22.92 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach children and adults of various abilities how to swim.
  • Provide lessons on a permanent and casual basis.
  • Schedule teaching sessions from Monday to Saturday to accommodate different commitments.
  • Communicate effectively with members of the public and give advice in fluent English.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Swim England Level 2 Teacher’s Certificate or Swim England Level 2 in Teaching of Swimming.
  • Teacher’s Rescue Award (NRASTC) preferable; training will be offered to the right candidate.
  • Previous teaching experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English.
  • Disclosure and Barring Service check required.
