Are you a driven and enthusiastic sales professional looking for a new challenge? Broxap, a market-leading family-owned engineering business, is looking for a talented sales closer to join our internal sales team at our headquarters in Chesterton, Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

Established in 1946, we\’re proud to be market leaders in designing and manufacturing street furniture, shelters, covered walkways, and playground equipment. We work with a diverse client base across both the public and private sectors, including local authorities, the education sector, architects, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Advisor:

  • Proactively follow up on quotations and negotiate deals to secure orders and achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients through exceptional communication and customer service.
  • Use various business tools, project subscriptions, and social media platforms to identify and research new sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate project and contact notes using our CRM system and provide weekly reports on sales activity and forecasts.
  • Provide customers with expert sales and technical advice over the phone.
  • Schedule and plan meetings with both prospective and existing clients as needed.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Proven experience in a sales development and order-closing role.
  • Strong negotiation, cross-selling, and closing skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritise high-value sales leads.
  • Confident and clear communication skills, comfortable working with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Experience with CRM database systems and strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Good understanding of web and social media for research purposes.

Working Arrangements:

  • Competitive Salary of £27,000 to £29,000 per annum depending on experience.
  • Company pension
  • 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
  • On-site parking is available.
  • Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00, with additional hours as needed.
