Browser Media is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager with experience in social media to join our team. This is a broad role and suits an individual who loves to explore all aspects of digital marketing but hands-on experience with managing social media campaigns (both organic and paid) is important. We need a commercially switched-on marketer who understands what 'good' looks like in terms of results, and can clearly articulate the value of what they do to clients. This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of two days per week in our Colchester office, alongside client meetings and team collaboration sessions as required.

The Role

  • You will work with the team to help increase the visibility of our clients’ brands online.
  • You will work with SEO / PPC / Digital PR experts and champion all things social, managing both organic and paid activity across multiple platforms.
  • This is a hands‑on role that offers significant variety and the opportunity to work with clients across a wide range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing organic social media campaigns across all social media platforms.
  • Planning and executing paid social advertising campaigns.
  • Creating content calendars and campaign strategies.
  • Writing engaging social media content and campaign copy.
  • Monitoring campaign performance and providing actionable insights.
  • Producing client reports and presenting recommendations.
  • Supporting wider digital marketing initiatives where required.
  • Keeping up to date with developments across digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Contribute to the agency blog.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted adviser.
  • Log PR coverage, assist with issuing outreach and support on content writing.
  • Support the team where required in other account admin.

About You

  • We are looking for someone with between two and five years' experience in digital marketing, ideally gained within an agency environment or a fast‑paced in‑house marketing team.
  • You are proud of your written communication skills.
  • You love creating copy that's clear, engaging and tailored to the audience - not generic filler.
  • You are commercially astute.
  • You enjoy analysing campaign performance and think in terms of results, not just activity.
  • You understand that a client's budget is real money, and you treat it accordingly.
  • You have run paid social campaigns and you're comfortable with Meta Ads Manager and/or LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • You know your way around audience targeting, bidding strategies and A/B testing.
  • You have a genuine passion for digital marketing - you read industry blogs, you notice good campaigns and you care about doing the work well.
  • You are a self‑starter who can manage your own workload and deadlines without needing to be chased.
  • You are a strong communicator - clear, confident, and professional with clients.
