Hotel Receptionist

7 Hospitality Management is looking for a charismatic Hotel Receptionist to join us in this exciting opportunity. This is a zero hour role based out of our Brandon Hall Hotel property in Coventry.

What will I be doing?

As a Hotel Receptionist for the Brandon Hall Hotel, we are looking for a charismatic and guest focussed candidate to drive exceptional standards and guest experience. You will be responsible for the following tasks;

• To create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests by controlling lighting, temperature and music levels across public areas
• To be fully conversant with, and be able to operate the hotels front office systems
• Ensure all messages received for guests are passed on accurately and as quickly as possible
• Ensure a sound knowledge of the local area regarding history, places of interest and special events and where further information can be obtained
• Operate the hotel switchboard and deal with all internal and external calls, according to procedure
• To display a \’Can-Do\’ Attitude at all times
• To be fully conversant with all reception procedures of check-in & out following shift checklist guidelines
• To take hotel reservations
• Reception admin tasks
• To take guest payments

A Hotel Receptionist serving 7 Hospitality Management managed hotels is always working on behalf of our Guests, Owners and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you must possess the attitudes, behaviours, skills and values that follow;

• Previous experience within same role within hotels (desirable)
• Commitment to delivering a high level of customer/guest service
• Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
• Great charisma & people skills
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Excellent personal presentation
