Overview:

Senior Accountant/Manager

We are recruiting a full time accountant with extensive experience in general practice to manage a portfolio of small to medium sized accounts clients

Our portfolio includes companies, partnerships and sole traders. A wide range of all types of clients.

This is a role with much variety and individual responsibility. Excellent prospects for progression including future partnership for the right individual

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of final accounts for presenting to and discussing with clients
• You will also work alongside a tax partner in finalising the tax part of the accounts before presenting them to the client

Skills:

• Must be able to prepare full accounts from all types of client records ranging from incomplete records to bespoke software trial balance/nominal ledgers
• Excellent double entry skills
• Familiarity with the major software packages
• Confident working with, meeting and talking to clients
• Clear working paper ethics and email presentation
• Must have principally worked in an accountancy practice

Working hours/Office atmosphere:

• 5 days a week but start/finish times can be flexible to suit
• Bright and well illuminated modern office with up to date equipment
• Dress code: Smart but casual dress and a great atmosphere to work

This role is not suitable for individuals with only industry experience. We are an accountancy practice specialising in accounts and tax matters.
