Job Description Overview: /n Senior Accountant/Manager /n We are recruiting a full time accountant with extensive experience in general practice to manage a portfolio of small to medium sized accounts clients /n Our portfolio includes companies, partnerships and sole traders. A wide range of all types of clients. /n This is a role with much variety and individual responsibility. Excellent prospects for progression including future partnership for the right individual /n You are welcome to call or email ahead of submitting your CV with any questions /n Responsibilities: /n - Preparation of final accounts for presenting to and discussing with clients /n - You will also work alongside a tax partner in finalising the tax part of the accounts before presenting them to the client /n Skills: /n - Must be able to prepare full accounts from all types of client records ranging from incomplete records to bespoke software trial balance/nominal ledgers /n - Excellent double entry skills /n - Familiarity with the major software packages /n - Confident working with, meeting and talking to clients /n - Clear working paper ethics and email presentation /n - Must have principally worked in an accountancy practice /n Working hours/Office atmosphere: /n - 5 days a week but start/finish times can be flexible to suit /n - Bright and well illuminated modern office with up to date equipment /n - Dress code: Smart but casual dress and a great atmosphere to work /n This role is not suitable for individuals with only industry experience. We are an accountancy practice specialising in accounts and tax matters.
