Brown Brothers in Kirkconnel are currently looking for a Trainee NPD Assistant. The hours of work are 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday. For the first 4 weeks the hours of work will be 6.00am – 3.00pm for training purposes.
Job Purpose
The purpose of the job is to provide high quality samples. Assist NPD Manager and NPD Coordinator develop products from concept stage through to final successful launch.
Job Description
Samples:
- Within tight time limits, work efficiently, prioritise and organise tasks effectively
- Liaise with sales team to provide the highest quality sample to meet certain specific customer sample requirement
- Manage, steer and co-ordinate the end to end delivery of sample to customer
- Ensure customers and sales team are kept aware of progress, timelines, benefits, risks and issues of samples
- To support the launch of standard products. Organise and help with promotional products for shows / presentations.
NPD Database:
- Maintain NPD Database system
R&D:
- Assist NPD Manager and Product development co-ordinator to develop new product from concept to final launch working with production, technical and sales to implement
