Brown Brothers in Kirkconnel are currently looking for a Low Risk Processing Manager. The hours of work are 6.00am – 3.00pm Monday – Friday. Salary is dependant on experience and will be discussed at interview.
Role Purpose:
To ensure product is being produced to the required specification ensuring quality standards are met. To promote good manufacturing practice throughout your area and to ensure targets are met. To ensure your team are trained and understand the importance of their role, their function within the business and feel valued at all times.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage team performance to achieve KPIs
- Conduct GMPs of area to ensure audit ready at all times
- Ensure traceability and accurate labelling during the process to protect and safeguard Brand integrity
- Ensures hygiene of area/machinery is to required standard and team have completed relevant paperwork
- Ensure machinery faults are reported using Emaint and follow through with Engineering Manager
- Demonstrate the company’s values and behaviours
- Ensure team follow SOPs to reduce risk of accidents
- Continually assess area to ensure clear of H & S hazards, ie slip hazards, access to fire exits etc
- Conduct as a minimum annual PDRs with team
- Ensure training records are up to date by regularly reviewing Mitrefinch
- Ensure time allocated to administrative tasks associated with role
