Established in 1970, Browns Fashion began with an iconic boutique at the heart of London. The brand was acquired by Farfetch in 2015, and today operates its flagship Browns Brook Street store in Mayfair, and the online commerce at www.brownsfashion.com. Our London office is located in Old Street, London's tech hub, and is home to a wide range of teams. Our open space is ideal for collaborative work and sharing ideas. THE ROLE

The role sits within the Browns Pricing & Commercial team, within the Merchandising function, and is responsible for effectively managing pricing & commercial strategies across all channels aligned to the business goals. As a Pricing & Commercial Analyst you will use data to identify, drive and execute pricing & commercial strategies to maximise profitability, support business performance, and manage sell‐through and inventory position. You will lead and continually seek to optimise pricing & commercial processes to develop effective strategic models and ways of working that support achieving our targets. The ideal candidate is analytical, commercially minded, comfortable working with large data sets, and enjoys working both autonomously and cross‐functionally.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, manage and execute pricing & commercial strategies set by the Pricing & Commercial Manager that support Browns & group targets
  • Analyse data to derive insights on performance of pricing & commercial initiatives and market price position throughout the season, proactively suggesting opportunities to support business performance through sell‐through improvement and profitability
  • Report on pricing & commercial performance, including market price position, profit, sell‐through and contribution to the business
  • Review and suggest optimisations for pricing & commercial processes and reports to support effective ways of working
  • Work cross‐functionally with other analysts, buying & merchandising, procurement, data teams and operations specialists to plan and align on key focuses
  • Serve as the key point of contact for Browns Pricing & Commercial strategies and support the Pricing & Commercial Manager on ad‐hoc requests

Who You Are

  • Confident working with large, complex data sets
  • Analytical and able to derive clear insights and strategic actions from data
  • Commercially minded, with knowledge of luxury or fashion retail a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills with SQL/BigQuery experience; Looker/Power BI knowledge a plus
  • Strong problem solver with effective optimisation skills
  • Self‐starter with the ability to proactively manage workload, organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail
  • Agile and able to work successfully in fast‐paced environments that contain ambiguity
