7.5 Tonne HGV Driver in Stoke-on-Trent

Looking for a driving job where you're home every night and know what you're getting each week?

We're looking for a 7.5 Tonne driver to join our team, collecting and delivering palletised freight across the ST and CW1-2 postcodes.

This is a local day role. No nights out and no long-haul trips. You'll be out on the road each day representing Browns and making sure our local customers get the reliable service they rely on.

You'll have 40 guaranteed hours Monday-Friday, starting from 7:30am, with the occasional Saturday morning.

• Quarterly Performance Bonus up to £200
• £300 Annual Retention/Performance Bonus

The job

A typical day will see you heading out from our Stoke-on-Trent depot to make multi-drop pallet deliveries across the local area.

You'll use a tail lift and electric pump truck to make deliveries, followed by local customer collections before heading back to base.

We trust our drivers to get on with the job. You'll have the independence to manage your day, backed by an experienced transport team when you need them.

We've invested in the technology you use on the road too. Our new driver app keeps your next job clear, reduces paperwork and sends job changes straight to your device. It works offline when the signal drops, and the traffic office is only one tap away when you need them.

What you'll need

• Class 2 (C) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• 1+ year HGV driving experience
