We are seeking a Breakfast School Assistant to work at Brownlow Primary School starting in August 2026. Working hours are 7:30am‑8:30am, Monday‑Friday, term time only (38 weeks), amounting to 5 hours per week. We can flexibly adjust working hours upon request.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Manager and work as part of a team to ensure children are eating and playing in a safe, friendly environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience of working within a similar role with children.
- Ability to understand key policies, e.g. Child Protection and Behaviour Management.
- Good interpersonal skills, flexibility and respect for pupils.
Schedule:
- Term time only, Monday‑Friday, 7:30am‑8:30am, 5 hours per week (38 weeks).
Remuneration:
- Actual Salary: £2,795.23 – £2,817.21 (FTE £24,804 – £24,999)
- Local Government Pension Scheme membership.
- 5.7 weeks paid holiday entitlement rising to 6.27 weeks after 5 years’ continuous service.
