Major Nuclear Infrastructure Project | Long-Term Contract
We're looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor to support a major engineering package at Hinkley Point C.
This role is ideally suited to a commercially strong QS with proven FIDIC contract experience.
If you've managed complex MEICA engineering or infrastructure projects under FIDIC, we'd like to hear from you.
What's on offer?
- £550–£650 per day (depending on experience/location)
- Off-payroll contract on the basis of 30 day subcontract payment terms and adequater insurance provision
- Long-term contract
- Hybrid working with site visits two days per week

The role
- You'll provide commercial support across a major engineering package, including:
- Administering and managing FIDIC contracts
- Commercial reporting and cost control
- Managing change, compensation events and contractual entitlement
- Valuations, forecasting and financial reporting
- Managing subcontractor accounts and commercial risk
- Supporting project delivery teams with contractual advice
- Building strong relationships with the client and wider project stakeholders
- We're looking for
- Proven experience as a PQS or Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Essential: Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contracts
- Background in MEICA major infrastructure, energy or nuclear projects
- Excellent commercial and contractual awareness
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
