We're looking for an experienced Site Agent to take responsibility on site delivering district heating infrastructure schemes. These are delivery roles for Agents who are comfortable owning the project, leading the site team and being accountable for safe, efficient delivery through to completion. The Role * Act as No.1 on site with day-to-day responsibility for project delivery reporting into a Project Manager (on-site 2 days per week) * Lead Engineers, Foremen, direct labour and subcontractors * Manage excavation, trenching, drainage and associated civils * Coordinate district heating pipework installation and specialist contractors * Manage highways, utilities and third-party interfaces * Drive short-term programmes and look-ahead planning * Coordinate labour, plant, materials and procurement * Manage Temporary Works requirements * Maintain RAMS, permits and construction controls * Drive QA, testing, reinstatement and handover * Maintain accurate daily and contemporary records * Identify and capture change * Manage client, local authority and stakeholder interfaces * Work closely with Commercial and Planning teams * Take the scheme through construction to successful handover You'll Need * Proven Site Agent experience * Strong civil engineering / utilities background * District heating or major pipeline experience advantageous * Experience delivering projects with significant public/highways interfaces * Strong programme and subcontractor management capability * Commercial and contractual awareness * SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at Work and ideally a construction related HNC (but not essential) We're looking for Agents who want ownership – people who can take a project, lead the team, solve problems and get projects delivered
