Join Brownhills to apply for the Motorhome Damp Repair Specialist role. This role is based at our 13 acre site in Newark-On-Trent and involves working within our Bodyshop Team to repair motorhome bodies, including water ingress damage and accident repairs.
Job Description
Working in our Bodyshop Team you will be responsible for body repair work on motorhomes, including water ingress damage repairs and accident damage. You will also handle insulation and ply lining of vehicles, wood and metalwork tasks, and other essential repairs.
Key Tasks
- Carrying out insurance, warranty and retail bodyshop repairs to motorhomes
- Remove and replace internal and external skirts, vents, trims, seals and fixings
- Remove and replace internal furniture structures
- Remove and replace internal timber plywood walls, ceilings and shower walls
- Manufacture bespoke furniture parts if required
- Re-seal internal and external rails, body panels and body joints
- Work with GRP and plastic panels
- Write full reports on work carried out
- Use a camera to capture pictures to support warranty claims
Skills Required
- The successful candidate will be confident, cheerful, punctual and able to meet strict deadlines while working on their own initiative.
- Hold a valid Full UK car driving license – essential
- Excellent DIY and problem-solving skills
- Experience in joinery
- Experience in vehicle trimming or upholstery – not essential
- Good time management skills
- Ability to follow specific instructions and manage a busy schedule
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with fabrication metal work – not essential
- Must be able to work well within a team
Hours of Work
Working a 4 days on 4 days off shift pattern; 06:00 – 18:00.
