We are looking for an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support and enable students aged 11‑16 across all subject areas. The HLTA will provide tuition individually or in small groups, supporting students to raise attainment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group tuition to students requiring additional help.
  • Work with the SEND team to prepare for and support students during lessons and learning activities.
  • Lead intervention programmes for vulnerable learners.
  • Support students with physical needs where required.
  • Adapt daily tasks to meet changing student needs.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience.
  • Minimum GCSE Maths, English & Science A*‑C or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of working effectively with children and young people.
  • Strong understanding of special education needs and experience delivering appropriate support.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviours and build supportive relationships.
