Brownhills Motorhomes are currently seeking a Motorhome Damp Repair Specialist; this is an exciting opportunity to join our busy team. We are the UK's largest Motorhome dealer and one stop destination for all Motorhome requirements. We sell new and used motorhomes, parts and accessories, undertake motorhome services/repairs and have an onsite cafe and leisure facilities. We employ around 200 staff at our 13 acre site.
Job Description
Working in our Bodyshop Team you will be responsible for body repair work on motorhomes; including water ingress damage repairs and bodywork accident damage. You will be involved with insulating and ply lining vehicles with wood and metalwork tasks to complete essential repairs.
Key Tasks
- Carrying out insurance, warranty and Retail Bodyshop repairs to Motorhomes
- To remove & replace internal & external skirts, vents, trims, seals and fixings
- Removing & replacing internal furniture structures
- To remove & replace internal timber plywood walls, ceilings and shower walls
- To manufacture bespoke furniture parts if required
- Re-sealing internal & external rails, body panels and body joints
- Working with GRP and plastic panels
- Writing full reports on work carried out
- Using a camera to download pictures of work carried out to support warranty claims
Skills Required
- The successful candidate will be confident with a cheerful nature, punctual and have the ability to meet strict deadlines and work under your own initiative.
- Hold a valid Full UK car driving license - essential
- Excellent DIY and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Joinery
- Experience of vehicle trimming or upholsterer - not essential
- You will need to have good time management skills
- You will be able to follow specific instruction and manage a busy schedule
- Have basic computer skills
- Experience with fabrication metal work but - not essential
- Must be able to work well within a team
Hours of Work
Working a 4 days on 4 days off shift pattern; 0600 - 1800
