We are hiring! Our Legal Support Services team is looking for a Practice Assistant to join the firm on a permanent basis. Working across our Business & Professional Risk department, this role will act as the single point of contact for fee earners and the completion of their work. Based in our Nottingham office, the role will undertake all aspects of the Practice Assistant role, or where appropriate, manage the workflow by utilising Team Assistants and Shared Services, retaining ownership and accountability of all tasks through to completion.

The focus for this role? Provide a high quality, comprehensive workflow management and organisational service to fee earners in the group and exceptional client service.

The role encompasses the following areas including: client relationship management, administration, communication, financial support, processing and customer service meaning we need a true all rounded with experience working as a PA.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a high quality, comprehensive workflow management and organisational service to fee earners within the group and deliver exceptional client service.
  • Act as the single point of contact for fee earners, managing and completing their work or coordinating workflow using Team Assistants and Shared Services.
  • Maintain ownership and accountability of tasks through to completion.
  • Support client relationship management, administration, communication, financial processes, and general customer service as part of a legal/ professional services environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working in a legal or professional services environment
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced function would be desirable
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • An aptitude for producing documents and client communications of the highest standard
  • Advanced knowledge of document management/case management systems
