We’re looking for a Practice Assistant to join our Business & Professional Risk team in London, providing exceptional workflow management and client service support to our fee earners.

Role

As a Practice Assistant, you’ll act as the single point of contact for fee earners within the Commercial Dispute Resolution team, taking ownership of all tasks through to completion – whether by carrying these out yourself or by managing workflow through Team Assistants and Shared Services. You’ll provide a high‑quality, comprehensive organisational service to fee earners and deliver exceptional client service at every stage.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build strong client relationships by becoming an active part of client care – handling queries, making client‑related calls, and ensuring all correspondence is dealt with promptly and professionally.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and financial support, including managing diaries, coordinating travel and meetings, and taking responsibility for preparation and completion of complex billing to the highest standards of accuracy.
  • Manage priorities and workloads to ensure deadlines are met, maintain client and matter data within case management systems, and ensure compliance with firm‑wide policies and procedures including Lexcel and Information Security.
