Browne Jacobson are in the market for a Public Law Associate to be based out of either our Birmingham, Cardiff or Nottingham offices. This role will join a team of high performing administrative and public law lawyers dealing with the full range of public law matters encompassing a variety of work types, including constitutional and administrative law advice, legislative drafting, planning, environment, health, information law, judicial review and other regulatory litigation and disciplinary matters.

We are looking for a candidate who would be able to demonstrate experience of working with or for the public sector, particularly central government or the devolved administrations, non-departmental public bodies, Local Government, the NHS and/or regulatory authorities, advising on statutory and administrative law obligations, vires, or with experience of conducting or defending judicial reviews. We are particularly interested in candidates with training and practical experience of legislative drafting for central and devolved governments and/or arms-length bodies.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills who is comfortable working with clients of all levels.
