The firm is recruiting for a People Business Partner to join the firm on a permanent basis. As People Business Partner you will provide resource and strategic planning support to the role’s key business areas, guiding client teams through the next phase of growth, providing insight and challenge, advising on complex people issues and driving change where necessary. Working towards a high-performance culture, you will support managers to develop and reward the talent within their teams.
This role will take ownership of 2 of our legal departments, working closely with the Heads of Departments and Senior Leaders in these areas. The successful candidate will need to be consultative, empathetic with a clear focus on doing the right thing and achieving the right outcome.
As part of the People team, you would be expected to have the following skills and experience:
- Excellent influencing and communication skills, able to persuade and engage with a diverse audience including senior leaders.
- Proactive and able to think creatively to provide resolutions.
- Ability to both envisage new solutions and deliver to plan, providing a more strategic outlook.
- Natural collaborator with keen sense of the importance of internal client relationships and the culture of internal service providers.
