We're looking for a talented Data Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Quality Assurance team for a fixed term contract of 12 months.
The role involves being part of a fluid and highly productive agile team, applying proven analytical and problem‑solving skills to maximise the value of our technology investments. Based in our Nottingham office and reporting to our Senior Data Quality Assurance Specialist, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conducting internal audits and creating and executing test plans and scripts to measure adherence to QA standards across software development, application integration, and information systems.
- Analysing formal test results to discover and report defects, bugs, errors and configuration issues – keeping our systems running at their best.
- Communicating test progress and results to stakeholders and management, while cultivating and disseminating knowledge of quality assurance best practices across the organisation.
What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrable experience in the design, development, and implementation of QA standards, with a proven track record in business intelligence and quality assurance roles.
- Advanced proficiency in T‑SQL, experience testing Power BI reports and dashboards (including DAX), and proficiency in testing SSAS Tabular models.
- The ability to prioritise and deliver in a high‑pressure environment, with keen attention to detail and a collaborative, team‑oriented approach.
