Job Description
We're looking for a Practice Assistant to join our Business Services team in Manchester, providing exceptional workflow management and client service support to our fee earners within the Commercial team.
The role
As a Practice Assistant, you'll act as the single point of contact for fee earners, taking ownership of all tasks through to completion - whether by carrying these out yourself or by managing workflow through Team Assistants and Shared Services. You'll provide a high-quality, comprehensive organisational service to fee earners and deliver exceptional client service at every stage.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building strong client relationships by becoming an active part of client care - handling queries, taking and making client-related calls, and ensuring all correspondence is dealt with promptly and professionally.
- Providing comprehensive administrative and financial support, including managing diaries, coordinating travel and meetings, and taking responsibility for the preparation and completion of complex billing to the highest standards of accuracy.
- Managing priorities and workloads to ensure deadlines are met, maintaining client and matter data within case management systems, and ensuring compliance with firm-wide policies and procedures including Lexcel and Information Security.
