Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Banking & Finance Solicitor to join our highly regarded team, acting on a broad range of complex and high-value transactions for a prestigious client base, including major UK banks such as Lloyds, NatWest, HSBC, Santander and Clydesdale Bank.
Working alongside colleagues across our Corporate and Real Estate teams, you will advise clients on a variety of banking and finance matters, including acquisition finance, property finance, asset-based lending, restructuring and refinancing.
What You'll Be Doing
- Advising clients on banking and finance transactions and arrangements.
- Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents and intercreditor agreements.
- Leading and supporting transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Managing client relationships and attending client meetings.
- Supervising junior team members and coordinating transaction workstreams.
- Supporting business development activities and helping to grow the team's profile and client base.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in banking and finance matters, including some or all of acquisition finance, property finance, development finance, restructuring and refinancing.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and project management skills.
- Excellent commercial awareness and a client-focused approach.
- The ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive, ambitious and collaborative mindset.
- A genuine interest in business development and growing a successful practice.
