We're currently recruiting for a Shared Services Team Leader where if successful, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Shared Services team, ensuring exceptional service delivery to all internal and external clients, and reporting any issues to the Shared Services Manager. This role sits within Legal Support Services and plays a vital part in the smooth running of the team, department, and wider firm.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage the day-to-day workload requirements within the team, anticipating and establishing resource requirements, including managing team holidays, monitoring sickness absence, and overseeing individual performance through objective setting, probation reviews, and appraisals.
- Lead and implement a continuous process improvement approach, adopting and sharing best practice, while proactively working with the Practice Support Manager and other Team Leaders on wider initiatives to achieve consistency and improve the quality and efficiency of legal support services.
- Ensure all department, team, and client-specific working practices are documented, communicated, implemented, and maintained, setting high standards and expectations and acting as a strong, positive role model and leader for the team.
- Demonstrable people management experience within a similar environment, with experience of managing administration services and resources.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly establish credible relationships at all levels, combined with the ability to problem solve, suggest and implement improvements to working practices, and adapt to change.
- Experience of document management/case management systems, along with an excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
