We are seeking a dynamic and experienced solicitor to join our thriving Tech and Projects practice in Nottingham, with opportunities to collaborate across our network, including our London office. Role Overview

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advising, drafting, and negotiating a spectrum of digital contracts—from software licenses to comprehensive project agreements for significant business transformations. Your expertise will primarily support sectors such as central government, financial services, insurance, automotive, and health. Additionally, you will provide ad hoc general commercial advice, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to meet the diverse needs of our prestigious client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal and commercial advice on digital procurements, including IT, IP, and data protection issues.
  • Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements and financial documents.
  • Handle intricate service level and credit arrangements, implementation, transition, and exit strategies.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and visibility across the team.
  • Contribute to business development, including sector engagement and thought leadership.

Who We Are Looking For

  • A solicitor with substantial experience particularly in a busy TMT or projects practice.
  • Strong technical expertise in advising on major projects in public or private sectors, especially within financial services and insurance.
  • Knowledge of privacy law, intellectual property, TUPE, public sector procurement rules, and FCA/PRA frameworks is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Robust negotiation skills and the ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • A proactive team player with a commitment to professional growth and development.
