We're looking for a Senior Social Media and Campaigns Executive to scope, design, deliver, and drive forward highly impactful, creative, and audience‑specific marketing communications, content, and campaigns that bring our brand positioning to life and support our internal clients in winning new work.

The role

As a Senior Social Media and Campaigns Executive , you'll sit at the heart of our PR and Communications team, owning the firm's social media channels and developing and executing social media strategies that amplify our campaigns, raise brand awareness, and drive meaningful engagement with our audiences. You'll help to implement firmwide, strategic, well‑researched, multi‑channel campaigns, collaborating with internal clients and the wider Client & Marketing function, and work closely with the Business Development team to support target market group campaigns. You'll also support the PR & Communications Manager in delivering content and communications, turning complicated information across a wide range of subjects into clear and compelling storytelling for a broad audience.

This role can be based across our Birmingham, Manchester, Nottingham, or London offices.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead our social media presence — taking day‑to‑day ownership of the firm's social media channels, maintaining a forward‑looking content calendar, and tracking and analysing performance metrics to continuously improve content and campaign results.
  • Plan and deliver creative campaigns — contributing ideas, conducting audience research, collaborating across Business Development & Marketing, and leading on the social media strand of all campaigns across LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and other relevant channels.
  • Develop compelling content — producing content across multiple channels, including blogs, thought leadership, and case studies, aligned with our DEI, social mobility, early careers, and ESG initiatives, and ensuring all content embodies the Browne Jacobson brand and tone of voice.
  • Proven social media and campaigns experience — demonstrable experience planning and delivering creative, engaging content and communications campaigns across multiple platforms, with a strong understanding of platform‑specific best practices, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills — confident writing in a range of styles, from narrative storytelling to client‑facing materials, and experienced in using social media scheduling and analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • A creative, curious, and organised communicator — with a genuine passion for social media, an instinct for what makes content perform with professional audiences, and the ability to digest and distil complicated information into clear and compelling copy, all while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

We offer a flexible and hybrid working model. Our comprehensive benefits package includes private medical insurance, pension contributions, an employee assistance programme, and a range of wellbeing initiatives. Enhanced parental leave is also available, reflecting our commitment to supporting you through every stage of your career and life.

Many of our people work flexibly in some way and we're open to considering how we can accommodate flexible working arrangements alongside role requirements. If this is important to you, please talk to us about it during the recruitment process.

We celebrate diversity and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, social economic background or age.

We're a Disability Confident Employer and will offer an interview to disabled applicants who best meet the minimum/essential criteria for the role.
