The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
We are looking for a talented associate to join our growing healthcare employment practice, working alongside senior and junior lawyers to advise clients across a broad range of employment matters, with a strong focus on Employment Tribunal litigation. You will handle predominantly contentious employment work, including:
- Preparing and managing Employment Tribunal cases - Claims/Responses, List of Issues, Witness Statements, Skeleton Arguments and settlement approval applications
- Advocacy at Case Management and Preliminary Hearings
- Drafting correspondence with Tribunals, opposing solicitors, ACAS and clients
- Advising on contracts, policies, disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancy, and family-friendly rights
- Supporting corporate transactions, including TUPE advice, due diligence and indemnity review
Experience in contentious and non-contentious employment law. Strong attention to detail with commercial awareness and the ability to work to tight deadlines. Able to deliver clear, practical advice and build strong client relationships. Up to date with legal developments, including relevant law reports and journals.
Qualifications: Ambitious, client-focused and able to contribute to a specialist healthcare employment team.
